Our mission is to provide the highest quality of evidence-based, therapy services with the most caring approach to schools and educational facilities + private consultation and telehealth services for children birth to 18 years of age.
We specialize in evidence-based, occupation-centered occupational therapy, Sensory Integration, and evaluation, developmental delays, Autism, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting & apraxia.
OUR DIRECTOR
Dr. Erin Rose is a board-certified and licensed occupational therapy practitioner with 16 years of experience in pediatrics and school systems. She earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Florida A&M University and a post-professional doctorate of occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University. Dr. Rose has worked in California, Georgia and Connecticut in both school and clinic settings. She started Thriving Kids Therapy in 2012.
Many who have worked with Dr. Rose say that she demonstrates a deep passion for what she does. She is compassionate and culturally sensitive towards everyone she works with and treats. She is also a strong advocate for her clients and their families. Her experience includes a wide variety of diagnoses and treatment approaches. Dr. Rose is a certified handwriting specialist through Handwriting Without Tears®, and has been an adjunct assistant professor at Quinnipiac University since 2019. Dr. Rose resides in Mystic, Connecticut with her husband and three children.
